Cockburn Medical Centre has proudly served the people of Spearwood and the surrounding neighborhood for over thirty years; providing high quality medical care through many generations.
Our practice was founded in 1985 with the idea of genuinely caring for people.
We believe that caring means not just treating the symptoms but considering the whole person and their long-term wellbeing.
Caring means adapting our approach to the needs of every individual; being easy to talk to and explaining ourselves in plain language.
It means following up and being accountable for our advice, and it means maintaining high professional standards and up-to-date skills.
APPOINTMENTS
New Patients Welcome!
You’ll need to make an appointment to see one of our doctors. Most appointments take 10 to 15 minutes. If you think you might need longer, please let our receptionist know when you call.

FEES
Whilst we are predominantly a private billing practice, bulk billing is available for children under the age of 16 years during weekday appointments. Please note that kids between the age of 12-16 years will be billed a gap for long/complex appointments, at the doctor’s discretion. We also offer pension and concession rate billing to all concession card holders. All eligible DVA card holders are also directly billed to DVA.
Please note: Each appointment is 10-15 minutes long and for one patient only. If you are booking for more than one patient, please choose one appointment time per patient.

HOME VISITS
Our doctors may (at their discretion) arrange to come to their regular patient’s home if the patient is very ill and unable to visit the surgery.
AFTER-HOURS
Please note we use Dial-A-Doctor for our after-hours service provider. You can contact them directly on 1300 030 030.

Monday – Thursday: 8am – 6pm
Friday : 8am – 5pm
Saturday : 8am – 11.30am
Sunday & Public Holidays : – Closed
